Getting started….(this isn’t going to be perfect)

I just made an announcement on FaceBook Live that I’m starting up my blogging hobby again.  I have no idea what I said on FB, but hopefully it made sense.  Basically, I’ve been wanting to do this for some time but I kept hesitating and delaying because it wasn’t going to be perfect.  Note to self: NOTHING IS 100% PERFECT.  As my friend Ginna likes to remind me – progress over perfection.

I need to be realistic with myself.

1) I don’t have any ‘free’ time (who does?) so I will need to fit this into the schedule very purposefully. I feel passionate about getting some ideas out there, for people who might have similar interests and struggles to mine.  I’m going to put out the ideas as best as I can with the limited time I have.  I’m not going to let the angst take over and lead to inaction.

2) My goal isn’t to win a Pulitzer Prize (they probably don’t give those to bloggers anyway), so I might even have some poor grammar or misspelled words (gasp to those friends, you know who you are, who are horrified by this).  I will live with this.

I am inviting you to be part of this messy journey with me. I hope you find some value, and maybe even some laughs, along the way.

(by the way, anyone know how to work this WordPress thing, I realize I have no idea what I’m doing from a technical perspective….)
